Summary
“Suguru,” he called out, watching as Suguru halted. “You smell like her.”
Suguru’s eyebrows rose in surprise, before he let out a small chuckle. “We rode the subway together for a part of the way back,” he explained, good naturedly, though the way his wrist slightly trembled under his grip told him he was far more affected by their proximity than he let on. “Stop going all alpha on me.”
It was Satoru’s turn to chuckle, moving even closer, forcing Suguru to walk back until his back hit a wall and he had nowhere else to run to. “But Suguru,” he said, dropping his voice, reveling in the way Suguru instinctively shivered, “I think you need me to go all alpha on you.”
Or: Satoru thought it would be him and Suguru together, always, despite the expectations inherently linked to their second gender. Suguru was his one and only, but when he unexpectedly goes on a date, it seems he needs to be reminded of that.
