   Summary

   Princess Royal Rhaenyra's greatest folly was not her gender but instead, the manner in which she clung to the vestiges of Valyria. She had made it clear what she thought of the Andal blood flowing through the veins of Queen Alicent's children but for the people of Westeros there was nothing of worth to glean in the wreckage and the Princess' decision to align herself with it has consequences. It is this decision that damns her when the Citadel and the Faith petition the Crown and she must journey to Kingslanding.
   Scrutiny is at an all-time high yet uncaring of the opinions of the Crownlands Princess Lucerys requests the rights of his Valyrian blood. His mark bears the words 'Aemond Targaryen' and his omega will settle for no less. The blood magic of Valyria brought forth the mark on all of its worthy progeny and Lucerys Velaryon is the first omega born to House Targaryen in living and historical memory. All this means nothing when the culture of Dragonstone is drawn into question and the brood of Queen Alicent is far more critical of their blood, not easily swayed by the sweet words of Daemon and Viserys as Rhaenyra once was.
