   Summary

   She hides the shaking of her hands even as she wishes for death, because she’s been trained her entire life to find secrets and her entire career to keep secrets of her own, and when her mind is blank with terror and fear and the sound of Ruhn screaming, the only thing she has left is her training.

   It’s kept them both alive this long. She doesn’t know how much longer they have until that good luck runs out.
