Summary
Sherlock is an omega detective masquerading as a beta so as to garner even a modicum of respect. He is perfectly happy like this, with no one in London- except himself and Mycroft- the wiser. But when an invalided Army doctor limps into his life and begins to unconsciously lay out the evidence, Sherlock less-than-slowly finds himself wanting to say "yes" to an unasked question. A ghost from Sherlock's past may force his hand sooner than he's ready for, but maybe it's all for the better.
