Upon entering his home, it smelled sugary sweet; Sirius’ mouth watered and his stomach growled. His nose led him into the kitchen. There, he found Severus with an apron on and his hair in a bun, and their daughter with a similar hairstyle as her dad and a pink apron on.
“It smells yummy. What did you and Dad bake today?” He cleaned away a chocolate stain from Lila’s cheek.
“I helped Dad make brownies, cookies, and cupcakes, my favorites.” His sweet girl smiled at him, and he laughed at her chocolate stained teeth.
“I can see that.” He kissed Severus, placing a hand on his waist. “What’s the occasion for all of this?”
“Lila’s class planned a bake sale for tomorrow to raise money for a field trip.”
“Can I help in anyway?”
“You can take the desserts to her school tomorrow morning.”
“Alright.” Sirius knew Severus did not like being around crowds, but he still tried to help out at Lila's school.
"Lila, help me clean up and then you’ll take a bath.”
“Mkay.” She climbed out of her chair and pattered her way to the broom. “I can sweep.” Compared to the broom, Lila looked very small.
