   James knew he had it bad. His friends knew he had it bad. For weeks he was constantly admonished for his fling with the Slytherin.
   “We just don’t want you to get hurt,” Lily said, Mary eagerly nodding beside her.
   “You know how Slytherins are,” Peter said.
   “I’ve never met one that’s not a fucking pompous shithead,” Marlene said.
   “He will leave you broken,” Sirius said, “Trust me on this one.”
   But his friends didn’t know Regulus like James did. After a month of being with Regulus any chance he got, James could write a short story about everything the boy did and didn’t like.
