    After the ascension, you could never really look at Astarion the same way you once did. Even a wrong glance in his direction would ignite the powder keg his temper had become. Constantly dancing around a field of mines and trapped within the Szarr palace, you find yourself beyond desperate to find a solution to your situation.

    Despite it all, you can’t bring yourself to hate him. He was once your lover, though he’s hardly the man you met stranded in a forest clearing all those moons ago. You could hardly raise a hand to him, let alone a blade powerful enough to end his reign; and he certainly wasn’t taking your opinions into account.

    You couldn’t fix this, but you find someone who can.
