Summary
Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

this is cute and heartwarming and amazinly written. i adore the found family dynamic and the characterizations and events are very well made, it made me stuck for a whole day reading it without eating. however, satosugu is my least favorite ship honestly (i cant forgive suguru for leaving satoru and betraying him, even if i understand his reasoning) so i cant say i like the synamic much. its very on point and they are cute as a couple and parenting figures but my favorite dynamic is satoru and yuuji. not bc theyre my favorite ship but the development of their rrelationship is very stable and they are soo hiilarious together. i like how they are turned out to be to each other here and how everything else evolved.
generlly i do recommend this fic a lot. it's clost to being a masterpiece.
