Summary
I’ve never seen him so worried, his eyes not hidden behind those bandages or sunglasses that he usually wears. I can see it in them – the love he bears for me, the worry, the denial. Blood surrounds us as he places my head in his lap gently, trying so hard to not cause me any pain, but it’s too late for that, I don’t feel it anymore. I don’t think he realizes just how much blood is seeping from under me or how little of my life force there is still inside. His eyes do see it, his six eyes sure tell him that my cursed energy is almost non-existent right now, but his mind chooses to ignore it all, he chooses to believe that I can still be saved, that I’ll heal.
