Summary:

If a trans person got isekai'd into a marvel movie, how would the resulting movie play out, given that the MCU just doesn't depict queerness? Perhaps the point of view from inside the Marvel universe would be different than on the movie set.
A thought experiment.

Chapter 1: Help! I'm Trapped in a Marvel Movie!

Chapter Text

The one time Andy doesn't look both ways before crossing the street, he's reading a screenshot of a tweet about paleontology. He's speedwalking like his life depends on it, because Sophia from his Algebra 2 class is at the crosswalk behind him, and he does not want to act polite with her. (A few days ago, he was shit-talking her with his friend Gavin, and her friend was sitting two tables over, and now he just doesn't want to open that can of worms.) He reads the sentence on his phone screen again, hoping that tiktaalik facts will help him forget his pain.
The one time that Bobby blows a red light in downtown, he hits a fucking pedestrian. Dead on. He slams the brake, and hears the impact of an idiot teen against the van's grille. He winces at the crack of a body hitting the pavement. Bobby throws the van into park, throws himself out of the van door, and skids around to see...
A few telltale drops of blood on the pavement. He looks around, peeks under the van, but doesn't see a body. There's three droplets of blood on the asphalt. Bobby looks up, and accidentally makes eye contact with a stunned onlooker; another teen. She walks up to his van hesitantly, and then says, "holy fuck, you annihilated them."
Bobby sucks in a breath through his teeth. "Did you know the guy?"
 The girl nods.
"Well, then, I guess I'd better..." Bobby climbs back into the van, and reaches over and into the glove compartment, where a thick booklet lists possible emergency scenarios and their protocols. He grabs a pen and starts writing down the pertinent information in the pocket notebook he keeps on hand. "Can you tell me his name?"
"Uhm, Amelia Roberts, but she always wanted to be called Andy."
