In a galaxy full of unrest and often on the verge of collapse, there were precious few places you felt safe and comfortable. Thankfully, one of those places just so happened to be your bed, not because it was the most comfortable place to be, but because your two amazing girlfriends were there with you.
You and Sabine had been dating for a couple of years before meeting Shin, who tried to kill you a couple of times before the three of you had gotten stranded on Peridea. It was only thanks to some teeth-clenched teamwork that you had gotten your ship fixed, during which you found that Shin wasn’t so bad after all, and was also absolutely gorgeous. Several misadventures later, you, Sabine and Shin were now an inseparable throuple, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tonight, after another exhausting and perilous mission, Sabine called for a group cuddle, and you sure as hell weren’t going to turn that down. You were lying down in the middle of the bed the three of you shared, with Sabine on your left and Shin on your right. It was cold tonight, so you were all under the covers and snuggled up even tighter than usual.
“This is nice,” you sighed contentedly, “I wish every day was like this.”
“Hear hear,” Sabine grinned, pecking your cheek, “Some days, I just wish we could all leave this galaxy behind and find someplace where we can just live out our lives together.”
“That sounds lovely,” you said, lovingly stroking Sabine’s purple hair.
“I agree,” Shin murmured, “It would be nice to settle down somewhere peaceful.”
“Wait, did I hear that right?” Sabine giggled, “Shin Hati, Miss ‘Cut Down Everything That Bothers Me’, wants to settle down?”
“I said ‘it would be nice’,” Shin shrugged, “Doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.”
“I honestly can’t imagine you having a peaceful life without trying to kill anyone,” you laughed.
“Oh, shut up,” Shin sighed, “Both of you are impossible.”
“To be fair, we tend to attract trouble a lot,” Sabine pointed out, “We might need your violent tendencies for such occasions.”
“Perhaps,” said Shin, turning to smile at you, “But I won’t be alone, will I?”
“Nope,” you grinned, “Sabine and I will be with you all the way. You wouldn’t mind, would you?”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Shin smirked, planting a kiss on your lips.
“Awesome,” said Sabine, pulling Shin in for a kiss of her own.
“Can I just say that you two are the best girlfriends ever?” you giggled.
“We are?” Sabine laughed, “Why thank you!”
“How can we express our gratitude?” Shin asked, her smile giving away what her answer would be.
“I dunno, you decide,” you said.
“Great, I believe we both know just the thing!” Sabine replied as she and Shin pinned you down and started planting kisses all over your face.
