Summary
Everyone thinks Kurt Anderson has it all: successful career as a Tony-winning costume designer, gorgeous loft in Manhattan's trendy Astor Row neighborhood, loving husband with a booming practice in couple's counseling. In reality, Kurt’s life is barely held together with a web of lies, misery, and prescriptions. On the advice of a friend, Kurt rents a house in upstate New York to take a break and put things in perspective, only to find that his life only looks more miserable from a distance. Sinking deeper and deeper into depression, Kurt is considering ending it all when he gets a letter in the mail, postmarked one week ago. The return address says only ‘Finn Hudson’, which is impossible, since the man died a decade ago.
