'Once upon a time...
In a magical land invisible to the human eye, two brothers lived.
They lived a peaceful, joyful life among the other inhabitants of the land.
The elder one, called the Chosen One. Only wants peace and freedom. Carrying a helping hand when someone needed.
Younger, the Dark Lord. A talented alchemist and inventor. Standing proudly by his brother's side.
They both loved traveling. Visit new places. Everyone has heard about them at least once.
And everything was perfect.
However, this was not enough for the younger brother.
And everything that was perfect is over...
The Dark Lord became greedy and power-hungry. Until finally one day he became a megalomaniac without any scruples and without mercy.
He consumed only by his desire for power and control and authority, he brought endless chaos to the land. With the help of terrifying creatures, which seemingly resembled spiders. However, they were terrifying creatures that desired destruction as much as their ruler, able to take someone's life with a single swing of its claws.
Spider-like creatures spread across the land meant that there was no place that could be called safe.
There seemed to be no one who could stop him.
Hope is gone. And everywhere there was only fear and terror.
But just when everything seemed to be over, someone appeared.
The Chosen One then stood against his brother with the intention of stopping him.
As they fought, it seemed as if the brotherly bond that once bound them had never existed.
You'd think they felt nothing but hatred for each other. As if their moments together had disappeared into oblivion.
The Dark Lord was strong. Strength and power that surpassed that of his older brother. It seemed that the older brother was in a losing position.
But that wasn't true.
In the end, the older brother won. Standing over his younger brother lying in defeat, he held out his hand. Wanting to show him the light and the right path again.
However, the younger one pushed away his older brother's hand with hatred in his eyes.
Ultimately, the Chosen One won and everything returned to normal in the land.'
Little orange hollowhead looked at his brother with big, childish eyes.
”That's all?!” He asked, a little disappointment hiding in his voice. But mostly there were sparks of excitement. ”What finally happened to the Dark Lord? And with the Chosen One!”
Older gray hollowhead laughed softly and ruffled his hair.
”No one knows.” He replied, placing the book beside to him on the couch. He then picked up the whining four-year-old. ”However, there are legends that one day evil will return. And with evil, a hero who will defeat it.”
Little hollowhead gasped at that.
”So they come back?! What if the Dark Lord returns? What if the Chosen One doesn't come back?” He asked, throwing his hands up in the air with the energy that only children have. ”What if there's no one to stop him!”
The older one laughed again and sat the younger hollowhead down on the bed. Then he took a funny theatrical position, holding the paintbrush like a sword.
”Then I will protect you!” He replied in a confident voice, waving the paintbrush in front of him. Imitating sword movements.
The four-year-old covered his mouth and gasped as if what his brother said scared him.
”No! Viiic! You'll be hurt!” He shouted and jumped on the bed, standing on it. ”I don't want you to get hurt!”
The elder named Vic looked at him with tender eyes as he picked him up again and suddenly did a few spins with a smile. This made the younger chuckle as he hugged his brother tighter.
”So who will protect you then?” Vic asked, playfully tapping him on the nose with his finger.
”No one! Because I will protect you!” He replied with a confident voice and smiled broadly.
This earned another tender look at the younger one.
”Oh, my brave little defender.” He laughed fondly and ruffled his hair again. ”And now to sleep. You have to be rested if you want to defend me, right?”
Little hollowhead nodded vigorously. After a while he was already lying down, wrapped in a duvet.
”Good night, Sec.” Vic said brushing his hair from his forehead.
”Night night...” He replied closing his eyes.
Vic smiled. He turned on the bedside lamp that was on the bedside table and walked silently to the door.
He looked at the sleeping four-year-old one more time before leaving closing the door behind him.
The starry night was calm. However, the storm clouds seemed to make the forest darker than ever.
Nevertheless, someone was traversing an old, overgrown forgotten forest road under the cover of a dark cloak.
The only light came from a small lantern held by... a traveler.
Suddenly, a small clearing near the cliff appeared on the horizon.
The ruins were visible from a distance. Ruins forgotten, shrouded in darkness that others feared. A place overgrown with various plants, vines and moss.
The confident steps did not stop even for a moment. The rustle of grass also could be heard underfoot.
Finally, the... traveler reached the very center of the ruins, where there were many symbols on the ground.
It seemed like they knew what they were here for. Because they obviously knew this place very well, as they easily made several movements and gestures. After a while, a small, slightly glowing object was pulled out.
And then the wind picked up a little and the leaves started swirling around. Thunder could be heard somewhere in the distance, adding to the mysterious and dark atmosphere.
The symbols on the ground began to glow blood red. And the hooded figure grinned broadly, when small numbers began to appear in the air and stick together to form something... or maybe rather someone.
After a while, a red hollowhead stood in front of the... traveler, who stood for a moment with a calm expression and closed eyes, giving the impression that he was sleeping.
After a moment, however, his eyes opened quickly, suddenly revealing glowing dark blood-red eyes. And behind him, four arms, resembling spider arms, spread out from his back almost like wings.
The traveler's grin widened even further as he looked at the red hollowhead in front of him.
Then the traveler spoke, spreading his arms happily.
”Welcome back...”
”...the Dark Lord.”
