The words are rote, repeated so often they've worn a groove in his brain; they're the words he recites every time he's questioned, the words he could recite in his sleep.

Summary
"Hazelwood." A low but firm voice rang out from behind him. It was slightly modified by the modulators the heroes often wore, but that alone was enough to scream at him to leave before he would be pulled into a mess he wanted no part of. Martyn jumped up, nearly falling off the building entirely. With a swift hand, he snatched his grappling hook out from his pocket and prepared to shoot it off into the distance.
A silver chain wrapped around his hook, following the item being sharply snatched out of his hands. Martyn attempted to reach for the hook, hands only grasping around empty air as he watched it fall and clatter loudly on the concrete roof. He thanked his mask for covering up most of his surprised expression as he turned towards the hero, prepared to give them a piece of his mind.
Then he stopped.
It was the Butler.
