Summary
Husbands, and retired shinobi, Kakashi and Tenzo have always tried their hardest to protect their son, Houki. But, when quiet civilian life starts to feel more like oppressive restraint, than loving protection to their budding teenager, the pair are forced to address the shadows of their pasts, as well as their many anxieties for the future, before Houki is swept away by the promises of a troubled young newcomer.

Houki, teenage son of two retired Shinobi, Kinoe and Sukea, lives a slow, safe, and quiet civilian life outside the hustle and bustle of Konoha. Though they seem like the perfect family unit on the surface, his fathers carry with them dark secrets of a mysterious past that slowly begin to unravel when a teenage foster child, shroud her own secrets, moves into the small town and offers to teach Houki what he’s always dreamed of knowing - the way of the Shinobi.
