   UNDERGOING SERIOUS REVISION

   He sees Tom’s face in slow-moving creeks, in his favourite flowers and food and in the robes that he has worn, that used to belong to Percy, but look more right on him. It is an affliction— the way his thoughts never truly empty of him, how he manages to think of Tom in the most mundane of activities.

   He is in the middle of reading a book (Tom would hate it, it’s nothing more than a mundane fantasy) before he slams it shut and hurries his clothes on, tapping his foot impatiently as he waits for the train.

   Percy needs to get it out— this bubbling, almost anxious feeling, even if it kills him.
