“Neuvillette?” Wriothesley blinks at him.
“There might be something you could lend me a hand with,” he says, carefully.
“Really? Tell me. I’ll do anything.”
“Will you…” Neuvillette licks his lips. Breathes Wriothesley in, spicy and enticing. They got even closer. Almost no space left between their mouths. It would be so easy. Too easy. The pull is too strong to resist. His want is a terrifying thing—a burning, parched, all-consuming need. Neuvillette swallows, tongue thick and heavy but then finishes barely above a whisper: “…trust me?”
