Summary
Shortly after their thirteenth birthdays, first Gwen, then Ben had Hanahaki surgery. As expected, they stopped coughing up flowers, and they both lost whatever romantic longings they had that brought on the disease.
Gwen still has memories of her feelings from before, though, and because they didn’t tell each other what they were going through, they never really knew why the other caught the disease.
The doctors said it would never happen again.
Inspired by the Miss_Nihilist story on AO3, i am disappointed by my hands, and their willingness to let go

Ahhh what a lovely read. Unique setting as well, coughing up petals when deeply in love is new. Always great to read a Bwen fic, thank you writing such a moving tale!
