In the bustling school cafeteria, Minho and Changbin sat together at their usual table, trays laden with food before them. Laughter and chatter filled the air as students bustled around, but in their little corner, it was just the two of them, sharing jokes and stories as they dug into their lunches.
"So, Changbin," Minho began, his eyes sparkling mischievously behind his glasses, "have you finally mustered up the courage to ask out Chan yet?"
Changbin's cheeks flushed pink at the mention of his crush, and he nervously pushed a stray strand of hair behind his ear. "N-no, not yet," he stammered, his gaze flickering away shyly.
Minho grinned, nudging Changbin playfully with his elbow. "Come on, Bin, you've been crushing on him for ages! It's about time you made a move."
Changbin sighed, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "But what if he doesn't feel the same way? What if it ruins our friendship?"
Minho shook his head, placing a reassuring hand on Changbin's shoulder. "Trust me, Bin, Chan is head over heels for you. I've seen the way he looks at you when he thinks no one's watching. You just need to take that first step."
Changbin's heart fluttered at Minho's words, a glimmer of hope shining in his eyes. "Do you really think so?"
"Absolutely," Minho replied, giving Changbin an encouraging smile. "And hey, even if things don't work out romantically, your friendship is strong enough to weather any storm."
With Minho's unwavering support bolstering his confidence, Changbin took a deep breath and straightened his posture. "You're right, Minho. I can do this."
And with newfound determination, Changbin rose from his seat, his heart pounding in his chest as he made his way across the cafeteria to where Chan was sitting with his friends.
As Changbin approached, Chan looked up, a warm smile spreading across his face. "Hey, Changbin! What's up?"
Changbin took a deep breath, his palms sweating nervously as he gathered his courage. "Hey, um, Chan, I was wondering if, uh, maybe you'd like to go out with me sometime? Like, on a date?"
Chan's eyes widened in surprise, his cheeks turning a faint shade of pink. "Really? You mean it?"
Changbin nodded, his heart racing with anticipation. "Yeah, I mean, if you want to, that is."
Chan grinned, his smile lighting up his entire face. "I'd love to, Changbin. I've been hoping you'd ask me out for ages!"
Changbin's heart soared at Bang Chan's words, a wave of joy washing over him as he realized that his feelings were reciprocated. He could hardly believe his luck.
As Changbin returned to their table, a wide grin stretched across his face, Minho's eyes lit up with excitement. "Well? What did he say?"
Changbin beamed, his cheeks flushed with happiness. "He said yes, Minho! Bang Chan said yes!"
Minho whooped in delight, pulling Changbin into a tight hug. "I knew you could do it, Bin! I'm so happy for you!"
And as they sat there, surrounded by the cheerful chatter of their classmates, Changbin couldn't help but feel grateful for his best friend's unwavering support. With Minho by his side, he knew that no matter what life threw their way, they could conquer it together.
