   Summary

   “I’ll take good care of her, she won’t get a scratch,” Lando had promised him.
   Han’s face had been a mixture between hope and distrust. He had wanted to believe him, of course, that he’d keep his promise, but the pilot had had countless experiences that had proved quite the opposite when it came to taking his old pal’s word for something.
   “I got your promise, no- not a scratch?” Han had half-asked, half-threatened.
   Lando had laughed loudly. “Would you get going, you pirate?”

    

   Lando should have known better than to make a promise he couldn’t keep to Han Solo, especially when it concerned the Millenium Falcon, his beloved ship.
   Thank the Force there is another woman in his life now.
