Chapter Text
Sirius' summers weren't always good. In fact, they were most usually bad. Normally it meant coming home from boarding school and going to that house, to the place he hated most. Now it meant going with James to home, with Effie and Monty waiting.
James' summers were fun. He liked school as much as one could- but summers where a time to wind down and relax. A time to spend with family and friends, to check off that bucket list before the school year started up again.
Peter's summers weren't particularly enjoyable. He'd rather be at school with his friends, than at home with just him and his mum cooped up in the small house. Summer wasn't something Peter looked forward to.
Remus' summers did not spark joy. Sure, being with his parents was all fine and well. But they worried about him far too much, and being away from them was a blessing.
The four boys spend their summers very differently, but they're determined to make this one count. After all, there's only so many left with them together.
