   Summary

   Remus has not seen Severus since the last day of school. And truthfully, after everything, he never expected to see him again.

   He knew the road that Severus wished to take was one that Remus could never follow him down (nor would Severus ever ask him too). So despite the pain, the despair, of being abandon by his mate, Remus was trying to move on with his life.

   So when one Severus Snape apparates back into his life one warm August afternoon, cursing his very existence, he does not know what to think, but he does start to hope.
