Summary
Society was dominated by traditional second gender roles. It was 2024, and things were getting better with omegas slowly earning more rights and autonomy. One thing that would probably never change, because it was at the core of a wolf's nature, was the claiming. The moon goddess chose several people that could be considered your soulmate. This was so that you would most definitely have a mate in this lifetime. Betas were free to mate with each other as they pleased, and occasionally the moon goddess paired an alpha with a beta or another alpha- but all omegas were fated to be with an alpha. Once an alpha put a claim on the first omega they were soulmates with, all other potential matches were no longer able to feel The Pull. The Pull is when you cross paths with a potential mate and your inner wolves instantaneously recognize each other. Your base self would then take over the human part of your consciousness.
