   • We are once again ignoring TOA
   • this is mostly going to take place after the heroes of Olympus books
   • No Smut
   • honestly I'm just gonna start writing and see where I end up
   • you get what you get
   • I just love pipeyna
   • Okay mostly finished now coming back to tag it
   • this started out as a romance fic
   • then it kind of became about Reyna overcoming her trauma
   • and also falling in love
   • I don't think I even realized how traumatic her backstory is
   • also I didn't even realize how many feelings I had about Jason and Reyna
   • like their friendship
   • that woman is a lesbian
   • also I know everyone likes to write Piper accepting her feminity and becoming more girly
   • but you can rip skater girl Piper from my cold dead hands
   • she can accept her feminity and still be a degenerate
   • that's what I love about her
   • Also mild depiction of abuse
   • I tried to keep it as grey as possible
   • also a rat is harmed
   • i think i hurt myself writing this
   • like when I wrote ruegard I knew that I would get kinda emotional but it was easy to write
   • but this was so hard to write at first and it did like double damage
   • This also became a little bit of a just let everyone be happy fic
   • like it kinda became so centered on the reclaiming of youth
   • and how to find joy even after the horrors of life
   • I love writing my own parallels
   • it is cinematic to me
   • To be clear I did not proofread this
   • I can't even believe it got this long
   • Also minor angst
   • but it is a happy ending

   Summary

Reyna feels inhuman, and Piper is the most alive thing she's ever set eyes on.

   Or

The author took about thirty seven points of psychic damage writing this. Shout-out Pearl and Goodbye My Danish Sweetheart by Mitski.
