Summary
"The humour from the Master’s eyes vanished as he glared down at his rival. “You could have been a giant.” he growled, advancing until his nose was less than an inch from the barrier separating them. “You could have made a difference but instead you grovel and crawl around the edges of our race’s destiny like the rest of this pathetic universe!”
This is a rewrite of The War Master set, Rage of the Time Lords. Specifically ep 4 where instead of capturing the Doctor for a few hours, the Master holds him for a few months, subjecting him to procedure after procedure as he uses the Doctor to develop his ultimate weapon. And indulging his own anger and hatred towards the Doctor in a number of other sadistic ways.
You absolutely DO NOT have to know the plot of the audiodrama literally AT ALL to read this. It is basically just a whump fic mixed with a Doctor/Master character study. It is literally all Doctor whump and complicated, twisted explorations of the Doctor and Master's relationship to each other. That's it.
