Chapter 1: Meet Penny Lamb

Chapter Text

Penny Lamb, the most forgettable girl in town. She didn't have any friends since she never was a social person. The closest thing she has to a friend is an old piece antique doll with blonde hair in ringlets that's so old the eyes turned black. Penny goes everywhere with it, she never leaves it alone.

Penny is an outcast. Most people ignore her, others bully her, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 thinks she's a lesbian. They think she's a lesbian for another student, Tammy Edwards. She also has a liking for musical theatre, that made her even more weirder to other kids. Her three favorite musicals are Heathers, SIX, and Beetlejuice.

She often gets bullied for carrying her doll with her, they would call her a child and try to take it from her, she would start crying and everyone would laugh at her.

No one ever talks to her unless to insult her, no one ever sits with her during lunch except on the first day she attended Saint Cassian's and a ginger named Ocean came up to her to introduce herself to get her to join choir. But a few moments later, Ocean got creeped out and ran away because Penny was glaring at her.

Ocean was apparently the smartest girl in Uranium. Top of her class, high school president, straight A student, and annoying. And ever since Ocean came up to Penny, she had been thinking about the offer that was given to her, which was to join choir. She 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 sing, but she didn't know if she would like the people there. Penny decided not to join.

Penny Lamb is a fairly beautiful sixteen year old, she's turning 17 in few days actually. She had beautiful blonde wavy hair, the greenest eyes, the softest smile, a pretty face but not pretty enough that people would notice her, and pale smooth skin. Her nails were clear but it had silver glitter on it that the teachers don't notice.

She's quite smart, but not as smart as Ocean. She finds math difficult. Now, don't get her wrong, she loved math. It's just that she does equations slowly and gets pressured because her classmates can do them faster.

Her parents own two seperate companies since they hadn't been on good terms since marriage. Well- her father 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 it was since marriage. Penny knew their first argument started around when she was born, she knew her parents wanted a divorce, she knew her father insisted not to because of her.

"Think of Penny, Meredith! " She heard her father yell once as she tip toed into the kitchen. "Think of our daughter! "

"Our daughter that I never wanted! " Her mother had yelled back. Penny started silently crying once she heard those words come out of her mother's mouth. She tip toed silently back to her room as her parents continue to argue
