2:30, Nakamura is all done with class for today and is just about ready to clock in for work, he goes back to his dorm room briefly to change into more presentable clothing, a white sweater and jeans, now he’s ready to go!
Grabbing his phone and headphones Nakamura starts his walk to the café, while walking he just plays some music for the walk.
~When he gets to the café~
Nakamura walks through the doors and into the staff room immediately, grabs an apron and puts it on, tying it he walks out to the counter “Okay, I’m ready!” He says to himself, while mentally preparing for customers to come in.
…
Surely someone will come in, right? Just be patient!
… No one’s here yet, so Nakamura just pulls his phone out and starts scrolling through social media as he waits for customers, takes a quick walk around the kitchen area, takes a look at all the tools, gets a cup of water, and still no one’s here? Huh..
~30 minutes later~
Ding! A customer! Nakamura quickly stands up straight and looks up “Welcome! What you would like?” Wait no that sounds weird “I- Your order?” He rephrased, waiting for the customers order for a moment “Just a small strawberry banana smoothie please” The customer orders after looking over the menu for a moment “Alright, coming right up!” Nakamura said after a quick thought of what to respond with, he turned and entered the kitchen to get the ingredients and make that smoothie.
About 5 awfully long minutes of figuring out how to make a smoothie, Nakamura took the strawberry banana smoothie and poured it in a cup with a lid and brought it to the customer “Will that be it?” Nakamura said as he placed the cup on the counter for the customer to take “Yes, just the smoothie thank you” They said as they paid for it and left
Nakamura felt a sense of relief and stress after that and just waited until the rest of the long shift was over to go back to his dorm.
