Summary
“My silly little swordsman.” Jemaah chuckles as he crouches down next to Zoro. He studies Zoro’s pained expression with an indulging kind of amusement. “You never learn, do you?”
There can’t be anything left, Zoro desperately thinks as he starts to dry-heave.
“You really want to test me today, don’t you?” Jemaah asks. The amusement stays on his face, but the glint of something far less benign starts to glow in his redish purple eyes. It dares him to be difficult.
Or:
Zoro gets unlucky in Wano one night, after the defeat of Kaido and his men. He vanishes for three years until the Straw Hats are able to locate him. They get him back but the aftermath is difficult on all of them.
