You were working on a new project in your tent.
As a Forest Ranger it wasn't anything unusual for you, neither was it super difficult.
You were just writing notes about a new flower you found in the forest.
It had appeared only two months ago and you were told by Tighnari to conduct a research on this new plant.
You would think it was just an ordinary flower with a beautiful lurring smell but once trying to see if it has any effect on other creatures you saw many different animals eat it and procced to try to find a partner to mate with.
That's what made it so interesting. You've been collecting data on it for 4 weeks now and you knew the time to try it out on a person would eventually come. Since you were the main researcher for this flower it had to be you.
Normally it was reccomended to just try it and find out what it does - people call it the Tighnari method but you weren't all that into going wild and perhaps hurting someone on accident or go missing in the woods.
Tighnari noticed how nervous you were when you mentioned your new discoveries and he promised that he will make sure to have someone asisst you with that part.
You decided that today is finally the time to try the flower out.
You weren't going to do anything fancy, just eat a few petals just like other animals did.
You peaked out of your tent to see if Collei was outside your tent.
Tighnari said that she should asisst you when you announced a date for the test. But no one was waiting and it was hour past set time. You made your way to Tighnari's tent and peaked inside.
"Hi Nari. I just wanted to ask if you've seen Collei by any chance? She was supposed to help me with testing out the flower today."
He raised his gaze from his book.
" Ah shit, right. Sorry Y/n I totally forgot and sent her to the forest. "
You felt a little dissapointed since you finally felt ready to try today.
"It's okey, accidents happend."
You were about to leave but Tighnari quickly got up.
"Wait! Since I made the mistake, how about I assist you?"
Your mood instantly picked up.
"Really?"
"Sure, I'm free now anyways."
"Okey, great! Thank you !"
You turned and made your way towards your tent and Tighnari was right behind you.
You got to the tent and made sure everything was in it's right place.
Tighnari made sure to close your tent so no one interrups you.
"When you're ready Y/n. I'll make sure that nothing bad happends to you."
"Right."
You took a big pink petal and nervously swallowed holding it up infront of your face.
Before you could change your mind you quickly put it in your mouth and cheewed it.
You were suprised to find out that the flower is sweet, almost fruity like in taste.
"How is it?"
Tighnari asked, opening up his notebook.
"It's sweet and kinda reminds me of sunsettias. I don't feel anything yet."
"Got it."
He put it in his notes.
All of a sudden you felt a shiver run down your spine and warmth spreading across your whole body. Your senses feeling much more sensitive.
"Tighnair I- I feel weird."
He quickly came to your aid.
"Alright, sit down and breath Y/n. Can you describe what you're feeling to me."
You started to tell him everything that was going on with your body and your mind, stumbling over your words and hardly able to form any sentence.
"Does it hurt anywhere?"
He asked.
"I don't t-think so."
A weird feeling pooling between your thighs.
You felt so warm and so ... needy.
Tighnari was looking at you for any signs of pain. He put his palm against your cheek.
Suprising yourself you whimpered at this simple gesture.
"You're on fire Y/n."
At this point your mind was cloudy and all you wanted right now was him.
"Tighnari."
You whispered his name and got closer to him crawling into his lap.
He blushed but didn't react to your actions.
"Please."
"Please what?"
He asked.
"I need you."
"Y/n I won't do anything you don't consent to you're under the influence of the flower remember?"
Your mind was too flooded to even process his words for the time being.
"Tighnari please."
You whined not really controling yourself.
He grabbed your face and made you look into his eyes.
"If you want me to touch you I need to hear you say it loud and clear to know that you really want it."
You mustered up some focus to think.
Ofcourse you're behavior wasn't fully the flower, sure it did push you on and made an impact on making you a bit dizzy but If you really wanted to, you could control the yourself.
But you didn't want to stop.
You've loved Tighnari for so long and you dreamed of having him for yourself and that's what was on your mind right now.
"I've wanted you since I first met you Nari. I want this, do you?"
It wasn't hard to realise that these were your words alone, nothing affecting them. He never thought he could actually have his feelings be returned by you. He hesitated a bit still not sure but looking into your eyes he saw certainty.
"Yes."
One of his hand rested on your hips, second coming up to caress your neck while his lips softly kissed yours. Everything you felt was much more intense than it would usually feel.
With the rest of this situation real purpose left in your head you made a mental note to remember to write it down.
You were so happy.
You finally could openly kiss and touch him.
You lowered yourself leaving trails of hickeys on his neck.
It didn't take long for him to flip you over, so now he was on top of you.
Now it was him kissing up and down your neck.
Just as you were about to unbuckle his belt he stopped you by gently holding your wrist.
"Y/n, I want to do this with you, but I want it to be just us. Nothing affecting us. Okey?"
You could think more clearly now, the effect of the petal wearing off quickier than you assumed.
"Yes, that would be better."
You smiled.
He kissed your forehead and captured you in his arms.
Now cuddling in your bed you whispered together all about your feelings to eachother.
You giggled and talked till you eventually both feel asleep. You felt safer than ever and you were glad that Tighnari accidentially sent Collei on a mission.
Unless it wasn't an accident?
