The sun was high in the sky, and the sky itself was clear.
Toya smiled as he sang with the rest of his group, the synergy powerful. The rest of his teammates held the same energetic motivation, An grinning beside him.
Once the final beat of the song faded, the group took a break, drinking water, catching their breath, scrolling on their phones, and looking at songs.
Toya walked up to An. “You did amazing as always, Shiraishi.”
An gave him a wide smile. “Thank you, Toya. You were awesome too.”
“Also,” she added, “please yobisute me, Toya.”
“And--huh?” His eyes widened.
“We’ve known each other since middle school, and we’ve been partners for two years. On top of that, I use yobisute with you, so it’s only fair that you do with me too.”
Partners. His eyes scrunched up in a genuine smile, and softening his gaze towards An. “If that’s what you wish, An. ”
She hugged him without warning, making Toya stumble backwards.

The live house’s noise echoed through Vivid Bad Squad’s ears as they entered backstage.
Toya had taken off his green jacket, sweating from the performance. An stood next to him.
“You sung wonderfully today, An.”
She grinned at him, before enveloping him in yet another hug. “You used my first name again!”
“Anything for you. An.”
