“Why are you causing a scene?” Lucifer asked, his brows furrowing slightly. “Other than the fact that you’re drunk.”
“You ruined my fucking life! Multiple times!” Adam shouted, his anger basically radiating off of him. “There’s not a moment that goes by where I don’t think about how you’ve screwed everything over for me!”
Wow. That sounded pathetic.
So, of course, Lucifer took the opportunity to twist Adam’s words.
“Are you saying that I’m always on your mind?”
“Yes! I mean– no!” Adam pulled himself out of Lucifer’s grasp. “Piss off, you fuckin’ asshole!”
