Hao placed Hanbins favorite flowers by the bedside, knowing this was the last he will never smell them.
Folded his clothes neatly, pretending he'll soon wear them.
Baked and brought in his favorite pie, though he won't be able to taste it again.
Placed his hand on his chest, searching for the rhythm that once matched his own,
then listened to his heartbeat, recorded on a now fading heartbeat monitor.
he whispered his love into his ear, hoping it would carry him into the unknown, though it now just lingered in the air.
Years passed.
But he still wrote him a letters, knowing they will never reach his hands.
Buys him birthday cakes, lighting candles for a soul no longer here.
Listens to saved voicemails, afraid of forgetting the sound of his hello.
Keeps his bedside lamp on, just incase he comes home.
