It was a normal day at the chocolate factory in the kingdom, at least it was for a worker named Kohane Azusawa. She was working on some chocolate hearts, it was her specialty after all. Each chocolate heart is different in both flavor and size. All she had to do now was hand them off to the director of packaging, Kanade. At least that was the plan until she received a letter from the heads of the factory.
“Kohane Azusawa, please come quickly to the top tower of the factory as we need you for something -Ichika”
“Ichika?! As in the manager?!” Kohane was surprised. What did the manager of the factory want from her? Would she be fired? Did she do something wrong? So many thoughts were running through Kohane’s mind. Just what did Ichika want from her?
Well whatever it was, she grabbed her bag and headed to the top tower. Her heart was beating so much, it was like someone was using her as a drum. She could feel her hands sweaty and it was so much for her heart. Once she got to the door, she braced herself, expecting to be fired, and opened the door.
When she did, she saw Ichika as expected, but she wasn’t expecting a guy with half-dark blue, half-light blue hair. She almost passed out from surprise, but she didn’t.
“Kohane, This is Toya Aoyagi. He’s our latest worker in the factory and he’ll be working in the chocolate-making department. Since you are our most competent worker, Toya will be working under you, you’ll be like his teacher.” Ichika calmly said.
Kohane couldn’t believe it. She was gonna have a person working under her? But she’s too shy, barely able to talk to a person. Nonetheless, she has to comply, with company policy after all.
“G-Greetings Aoyagi-kun, I’m Kohane Azusawa”
“Greetings to you too, Azusawa”
Kohane wasn’t used to being called by her last name, but she did call him Aoyagi-kun so it’s sorta her fault. Her hand was shaking so much, but as company policy said, she shook hands with Toya in a polite way, as to say “Welcome to the company”.
