Over hundreds of years, the two species blend their worlds, making human-alien hybrids of many kinds, eventually carrying the blood of both ancestries.

“I think about her everyday, and look forward to when she sneaks into our school in hopes that I’ll see her and if she’ll perhaps… say hi to me.” About this time, I can feel my crew mates literally staring me down but, I’m already this vulnerable so why the hell not. “I… I can literally talk about her all day if I could. But honestly…” I could feel the returning heaviness in my heart like an unwanted illness. My once cheesing smile dropping into a faint frown, “I don’t think she could ever like someone like me. I’m a jackass and I’m pretty sure she already saw right through my persona and how dumb I was from the get go. I just… don’t see her feeling the same way about me. I’m not good enough for her. At all.”
