   Summary

   Jean Kirsten and Reiner Braun have always been aware of each other. Their families were the only two families in their little Mexican village that owned and managed a large farm and were enemies dating back to their great great great grandfathers. They were always told to never interact with each other, that the other would be a competitor later in life when they took over their respective family’s farm. However, with an unexpected war and conscription, Reiner and Jean were sent off to fight for the Mexican military for a few years, and things haven’t been the same since.
