   A House of the Dragon Fanfiction, prequel to my completed Game of Thrones Fanfiction: A Dragon's Flame. (Can be read in any order)

   Jaennis Firebearer is cold, calculating, and thirsty for blood. She is part of an ancient House that serves and protects the Targaryen's. A family with ancient and strange abilities, all surrounding the Targaryen's in which they serve. The two houses' destinies are intertwined, they always have been. Jaennis is determined to fight any tradition and fate, distancing herself from the House of the Dragon in any way possible. She is well trained and well armed, always jumping for the next opportunity to battle, to win, to kill. This is all brought to question by a certain Princess however, and she realizes life may not just be about fighting. And that running from destiny is ultimately pointless.
