“Does it ever get confusing when people try to talk to you?” Ezekiel asked. “With the whole having the same name thing.”
Cassandra gave him an annoyed look.
“Considering no one uses Cass’s full name, no not really.”
“Really no one does?”
“No one,” Cass confirmed.
“So it never comes up?”
“I didn’t even know her full name was Cassandra for the first month.”
Cass tugged on her hand, signaling that she was ready to leave for their date. Which had been derailed by Exekiel.
“We’re going to go now,” she said. “See you later.”
“Watch out for the bats!”
