Chapter Text
So... maybe this wasn't Hiccups best Idea...
Hiccup had gone out on a fly against his mother's and Astrids wishes. He still can't believe no one noticed, and if any dragon did, they didn't try and stop him. Toothless was nowhere to be seen and Hiccup was in the most dingy, dark and damp cell he had ever been in, in his entire life, and he's seen his fair share. Not to mention he was chained against the wall, and missing a leg. How fun... Hiccups been on Erets ship for Odin knows how long at this point. He hasn't talk to or even seen anyone since he got here. And the cell, well, the lack of outside light makes the reason why the cell is so damn dark painfully clear. Hiccup can only imagine what this Drago person plans on doing with Toothless.
Hiccup nearly gets his head bashed against the wall of his cell when the ship comes to a stop. He was so unprepared. Then, Eret himself comes and opens the door to Hiccups cell. The hunter unchained Hiccup from the wall and basically drags him out, almost causing him to trip considering he still had no left leg. Hiccup starts yelling, questioning the man on where he was going. Eret kept quiet. Once they are off the boat, Eret, seemingly getting annoyed with Hiccups slow pace, throws him over his shoulder and continues walking deep into the base. Hiccup sees dragons he never even knew existed. They all stare out into space, almost unaware of their surroundings. Hiccup can't help but wonder why. Not to mention their pupils are so slit that they could dissappear if they were slit anymore.
Hiccup was brought into some sort of cube looking building that was made of welded metal. Most likely the hard work of the dragons here. Eret carried him inside and brought him down some stairs and into a long corridor. He brought Hiccup into some room after the long walk. It was pitch black and cold. Was there even a wall? Was there an end to this seemingly infinite darkness? Hiccup couldn't tell, and that shivered his core. Eret then, after taking a good minute or two trying to find the binds, chained Hiccup up with what sounded and felt like chains. Eret then just left Hiccup in the darkness without a word. Hiccup literally couldn't see a single thing anywhere around him. He'd have to sit in complete darkness until someone brought him out, preferably to save him but everyone knows just how lucky Hiccup is. He'd just have to sit in the darkness in silence.
It was only a few hours later that Hiccup heard extremely heavy footsteps. Was it someone telling him to shut up? He had been talking to himself for a while now. The unknown person unlocks then swings the door open with an unnecessary amount of force. Hiccup couldn't hope to see him in this darkness. "Now would you look at that! The son of Stoick The Vast rides a dragon! And a Night fury at that. I have to appreciate the gift Haddok. Now I have a Night fury in my army!" Hiccup continuously flinches at the rough voice that's basically shouting at him. But he tries to stand his ground. "Don't you dare touch Toothless or I swear-" "Swear what? The merciful dragon master gonna make me his friend? Oh! The horror! Your not capable of doing anything that'll hurt me Haddok. Your weak! But... you were able to put a leash on the Night fury." "I didn't 'put a leash' on Toothless, his my friend." Yea, Hiccup would not let this stranger say he put a leash on his best friend. "Well, since your able to get along with the thing so well, how about I turn you into one! I do need more powerful dragons in my army afterall!" "Wait- what!? What are you talking about!?" Hiccups heart was racing now. What was this stranger talking about now? "Simple! I'll make you into a Night fury! I wonder how Stoick will feel about that! Imagine, his scrawny, toothpick for a son, is a Night fury serving in my dragon army!" It's perfect! HAHA! Thanks for the idea Haddok!" And then the stranger straight up leaves, Hiccup couldn't even get another word in.
Wait...
Was this phsyco implying he was going to turn Hiccup into a night fury!?
Hiccup had heard it all at this point. Not even Daggur could come up with something so ridiculous, and he's called 'Daggur the Deranged' for a reason! Hiccup literally spent 10 minutes hyperventilating and trying not to pass out. How would turning someone into a dragon even be possible? Hiccup couldn't think anymore, he was so tired that he actually was considering sleeping here. And this darkness wasn't helping. Hiccup couldn't tell when he fell asleep.
