Chapter 1: Meetings were had.

Chapter Text

Nedzu knew a traitor was in the school. It was obvious to him. Although he knew his teachers wouldn’t believe him. He needed to find a way to keep his students safe and figure out who the mole was.

He needed to cash in his favor from a certain Tyvat Academia.

Her heels clicked as she practically ran through the halls. She was late for a very important meeting. It was an emergency meeting called by Professor Kusunali. She was informed of it yesterday and accidentally fell asleep too long.

She was out of breath by the time she reached the doors to the meeting room. She hopes she wasn’t too late! Although she was definitely the last one there by the looks of it. She sighed composing herself before walking in.

“Ah Layla! Thank you for joining! You're right on time!” A childish voice greeted her as she entered. It was Professor Kusunali. Her short teacher smiled at her as she sat down. She looked at all the other students sitting with her at the long table.

There were 6 of them in total including her. First at the front was Tighnari, across from him was a student who went by the name Wanderer, next to Tighnari was Kaveh, sitting right across from Faruzan, Cyno was next to him, and lastly Layla who was by Faruzan.

She was glad to be seated next to Faruzan. Admittedly Faruzan was the one she knew the best out of all of them, she honestly didn’t know the others that well. Although it did bring the question on why they all were here. She can already feel herself on the brink of sleep. Kusunali cleared her throat as she began to speak.

“I know you all are wondering why you are here today. Well I have decided to assign you 6 with a certain infiltration/bodygarding mission.”

Everyone at the table was surprised to hear that. She could see the room get tense as their Professor continued.

“The principal of UA reached out to Tyvat Academia to ask for help. Recently Class 1-A got attacked by villains at a place called the USJ. He wanted us to go there to help protect the children and how to help them fight better. But that’s not all. He suspects a traitor to be involved. Due to you 6 being ahead of all your studies and due to you being the darshan representatives I recommend you. Any questions or concerns?”

Nahida sighed as she stopped talking and looked at all of them. She honestly didn’t need to ask if they had any questions considering she could read minds but she decided to be polite. Tighnari raised his hand to ask the question all the others were thinking.

“Why did we accept to do this for UA? Usually we don’t have missions in a different country.” His fox ear flicked a bit as he asked the question. On the other end of the table Layla yawned a bit as Faruzan had to shake her back awake.

“In the past Nedzu, the UA principal, helped our school out a lot. He was the main reason our school for vision users was able to be set up. For that we owed him a favor which we are returning. Great question!” She smiled encouragely. Tighnari nods as she answers his question. Wanderer groaned as he spoke up.

“We don’t really get a choice in this do we?” Kusunali smiled apologetically at him. “I assumed you all would agree and accepted it, sorry.”

Wanderer sighs and nods. All the others look at each other and nod in agreement of accepting it. Kusunali smiles widely at them. She was really happy that they decided to do it.

“I know you all are wondering why I called you here!”

Nedzu smiled as he looked over at all the teachers spread across the room. Most of them raised an eyebrow at him.

“After the recent attack at the USJ I decided to get some help from foreign students…from Tyvat University!”

Immediately all the teachers started yelling questions at the rodent principale. Sure they knew of his involvement with helping and supporting vision users but for him to invite them into the school to help them? Was he out of his mind? Nedzu simply smiled at them as he waited for them to calm down.

“They will be coming in a week from now. And you will all treat them with respect. They are coming to help us! 6 students are being sent. I’ll send the files later to you all.”

Nedzu clapped and left with a big smile on his face. The other teachers sat there stunned. What exactly was going to happen in a week from now?
