   Summary

   The two men never once broke eye contact for more than a split second; Cloud felt as though he weren’t even able to. As though Rufus had chained his gaze to his own- an invisible collar, of sorts, forcing him to follow and obey Rufus’s lead and every order.

   The worst part being that there existed no such collar beyond metaphor; Rufus had him completely under his command, and Cloud was more than willing to be led by the leash. Willingly, eagerly, blindsided entirely by a desire that burned deep within him, impossible to ignore.
