Mingyu wants a new sofa as a birthday gift from his members and Wonwoo doesn't know if it will fit in the house. Also, he doesn't know that Min has been looking for new places to live because the lease on their current home is about to expire.
But Gyu doesn't know how to ask Wonu if he wants to move in with him, if they will continue living together. He wants to assume so, because in the end their routine is comfortable when they are together and they are used to each other.
Sometimes one wakes the other up to start the day, there are times when Mingyu wakes up earlier and prepares breakfast for both of them. Other times, Won gets up earlier and orders something for breakfast because he's not very good at cooking yet. Sometimes they both wait for each other to go out and do their activities for the day.
When they don't have schedules together, they keep in touch with each other anyway and when they get home they agree to have dinner and talk about how their day was.
It's something normal for both of them, so used to each other's presence... But Wonwoo doesn't know why Mingyu asked for that big sofa, it looks comfortable in the photograph and two people or more can fit there perfectly.
Won gets a little nervous when his manager reminds him that his lease is up soon and starts thinking about how Mingyu has been hanging out more frequently with his friends the past few months.
And it's not like Wonu feels abandoned, he enjoys his solitude when Min goes to Jungkook or Eun Woo's house, when he goes out to eat with the two of them and Yugyeom or with other members of their group. But unlike Gyu, those friends live alone.
Maybe it's what Mingyu wants now, so he could invite his friends home too... So Wonwoo is a little afraid to ask. How do you ask that anyway?
Mingyu, are we still going to live together or do you want to live alone from now on?
Wonwoo believes that it won't be a big deal if he has to live by his own, but a feeling of sadness settles inside his heart and he feels that he begins to miss Mingyu even without knowing what will happen.
He doesn't look for another house, he doesn't even think he can decorate it and everything gets worse when one day he looks at Gyu using his laptop, he is in the living room that they have shared now for a couple of years and someone just rings the doorbell, it must be food that both had ordered.
Gyu goes to open the door and Won glances at Mingyu's computer screen only to see that he was looking for more furniture for a house, he feels weird and doesn't want to comment on it. But he knows that the topic will have to come up sooner or later.
Mingyu is out with Jungkook again and Wonwoo is home alone, there's about a week left before the lease ends and he still refuses to look for a new place.
He goes to the small kitchen that is full of memories, Min has cooked ramen for him hundreds of times in this small space, Won remembers how sometimes he helped Mingyu or sometimes he would just sit in the counter watching Min cook, after eating Won always washed the dishes because that really relaxed him.
In fact, that night before he left, Gyu had left him some ramen cooked, so Wonu pours it into a bowl and takes it to the living room, another place full of memories.
Won remembers how excited Mingyu was when he installed the projector there, the first time they watched a movie, the other times when they used to watch Netflix and comment on the series they watched, when he fell asleep on the couch, but then the next day he would wake up in his bed, wrapped up and sometimes even with Min sleeping by his side. Or when Mingyu put up his fireplace and they both sang "Campfire" together.
Wonu sits on his leather couch and while he eats his ramen he watches videos on YouTube he also remembers the first time he was there, when he filmed his own vlog during the "Bittersweet" era. So much had happened in just two years.
When Wonwoo finishes eating, he washes the only dish he used and then reluctantly heads to his room, he drags his feet and thinks about what will happen when he has to leave this place, he feels nostalgic after so much time he spent in this house he calls home.
He lies down on his bed, but he's not sleepy, he doesn't even want to sleep thinking that sooner or later he'll have to talk to Mingyu about it, he's not ready for Min to tell him that they should start living by their own, that maybe it's time for them to live separately.
In any case, most of the other members already live alone and perhaps it is still rare for them to continue sharing the same place. Between his vague thoughts, Wonu spends hours awake and then he can perfectly hear how the front door opens when Mingyu gets there.
Mingyu enters the house almost silently and then, to Won's surprise, Min enters his room and almost collapses next to him, Gyu's arm almost instinctively wraps around Wonwoo's hip and then he speaks.
"Wonwoo Hyung, Wonwoo Hyung..." Mingyu's voice is unstable, it is obvious that he has been drinking, maybe not enough to be completely drunk, but he does sound tipsy. "I've been looking for new apartments..."
Won can contain himself normally, especially in front of others, but now he just wants to cry. He had been avoiding this topic so much and he also had been struggling with this for Min to talk about it like that, so easily, even though he knows they had to talk about it.
Mingyu is so proactive, so it's normal for him to approach this kind of things and topics so easily.
"I have been looking for new apartments for both of us... But I don't know if you want us to continue living together, I-I went a little ahead, there is a place that I really liked and-and where we can also put the projector, the sofa I asked for on my birthday fits perfectly there and I-I was also looking for new furniture that matches the sofa." Gyu speaks very quickly and then laughs causing Won to laugh too, but it comes out more as a funny sob after he was holding back his tears.
"Are you okay, Wonwoo?" Mingyu asks, he sounds worriend and then he turns to look at Wonu better, he sees how a tear slides down his cheek and quickly wipes it away with his hand. "Don't cry, Hyung, tell me what's wrong."
"Mingyu, I thought you didn't want us to live together anymore, I thought you were looking for a place just for you." Wonu says as he sniffles and wipes away the other tears that are spilling from his eyes.
"No, I would never think of leaving without you, I can't see the future if it's not with you, I swear." Mingyu's sincere and raw words touch Wonu's heart, how could he doubt him when Mingyu has always worry about him?
Wonwoo doesn't like moving out that much, but he knows it's necessary, plus there's nothing to fear when Mingyu is by his side. Min chose a new place, and it's so good, it is a perfect apartment, it is also open, so the kitchen and the living room are practically together, in the living room there is a big window through which the sunlight enters perfectly and there is also a balcony .
Gyu really went ahead and the first thing he did was set up their projector, as well as a new sound system that he can connect to his iPad.
The first thing that arrives home is Min's blue sofa and he quickly sets it up. Little by little the house is filled with all the furniture that Gyu bought and Wonu simply sees how he took charge of the entire design of his new home so Won feels satisfied.
Mingyu even thought of Wonwoo's gaming room and helped him set it up, he also rearranged their shared closet and Min was so happy when he received the small loquat tree that his dad sent him.
Mingyu and Wonwoo placed the little tree right by the window so that it can get the light from the sun, Gyu usually waters it regularly, but Wonu also helps him take care of it, sometimes the two of them watch it grow in the sunlight when they have enough free time.
The new routine consists of always having dinner together, no matter who is waiting for whom and right now, Wonu is waiting for Mingyu who decided to do a live stream while waiting for the food they both ordered.
The house is not fully decorated yet and they are not ready to show it, this time is different because they are not promoting anything together so they don't have to film a vlog showing parts of their new home.
Now it's just for the two of them, although they left many old memories in the previous apartment, they have new memories to make in their new place.
The food delivery man notifies Wonu through the app that he is outside and he leaves to pick up the food. As soon as he enters the house, he approaches Min and whispers.
"Hurry up, let's eat." And Gyu hurries to say goodbye to their fans on the live.
"Bye, bye! Take care" Mingyu says goodbye and then Won repeats with that deep voice.
"Bye, bye!"
"Tomorrow is Saturday..." Mingyu continues.
"Tomorrow is Saturday..." Wonu's voice is heard off camera again.
"So, those who want to rest, rest well." Mingyu says and Wonwoo keeps repeating his words.
"So, those who want to rest, rest well."
"Hello, I'm Jeon Wonwoo." Gyu mocks as he imitates Wonu's deep voice, but Won plays along.
"Hello, I'm Jeon Wonwoo." He repeats again and, now, Min says goodbye.
"Goodbye!"
"Hurry up." Wonu asks him again.
"Ah, I'm so hungry my stomach hurts."
"Me too, Min."
"Bye, bye!" Mingyu says to end the live. Then he rushes to the makeshift table they both have at home where Won has already arranged all the food that arrived and brought a couple of bowls and chopsticks to eat.
After today's practice and such a tiring schedule, it feels good to enjoy each other's company, enjoying the food they both like so much, having small and fun talks while Gyu plays one of his playlists in the background for the dinner.
A couple of weeks later and after Mingyu receives his phone holder, he decides to do another live at home. He and Wonwoo had been resting for a while on the living room couch, scrolling on their cell phones for a while while lying on the big sofa.
But then Min remembered that he had promised to do a live, so he settles down again, puts on a sweater and starts his live. As always, there is no shortage of curious fans who ask about Wonu knowing that they live together.
"Wonwoo Hyung? He was here, but right now he's in his bedroom." Gyu responds to a fan with a smile on his face, thinking about how comfortable Won must be on the bed, wanting to turn off the live right now and join him in his room, but he can't do it when the broadcast has just started.
But it doesn't take long for him to have more interactions with his fans who continue to comment on the live stream, asking trivial things or about his friends, they also ask him about the merch that he could release soon, Mingyu feels very happy to be able to share his time with fans this way.
Although when he ends the live, he can't help it and then does what he was thinking about for a while, Mingyu ends the transmission, takes his cell phone from the stand and heads to Wonu's bedroom. There he is, lying on his back watching something on his cell phone, Min almost throws himself onto the bed and Won makes room for him.
Mingyu rests his head on Wonwoo's chest and surrounds Wonu's waist with his right arm. He sighs a little, enjoying the peach smell of Wonu's perfume. Ah, this is really nice, it doesn't matter that they move house, they are still the same and they are both very happy together.
