Summary
Jackson's footsteps descended the ladder again until Lucy felt him next to her, his shoulders brushing hers. His breathing was ragged and fast. She reached out blindly until she found his hand. His palm was slick with sweat, but she clutched it tightly anyway, as much to reassure herself as him.
Her radio suddenly crackled to life. Before she was able to grab at the device, a soft melody began playing through the small speaker.
"Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"

My two favorite fics involve soulmate timers and the return of Rosalind Dyer, so I decided to combine the two! The beginning of the story focuses on Lucy finding her soulmate (can you take a guess who it is) and then the story morphs into a fic revolved around Dyer :) -
