Once upon a time, there was a girl who had a very unique appearance which was characterized by a green color motif… She was often called the green girl… with Braided Island’s blood.
She has long green hair, which is velvety to the touch as it flows with the winds… The light green complexion of her skin glistens with the warmth of her kind heart…
She has true beauty in the way of self-love as depicted by her kindness that always loves and forgives anyone without any ulterior motives or wants for her kindness to be returned… Innocence…
One day, she meets a boy - someone who strikes her heart with love at first sight…
As he is the most gorgeous, hunky prince charming that she has ever seen… His hair has the most amazing color… but his eyes…
I realized that when I looked into his eyes… The fairest… The prettiest…
As in the most beautiful pair of eyes that I ever see in my whole life…
…it was like looking across the vast, open world beyond the ocean.

Dear Me…
I’ve been inspired to start journaling ever since reading Mama’s. But so much has happened in the last six months that I’m not sure where to begin…
This is a letter to the girl I used to be
There are some things that you should know
It's not my intention to embarrass or to shame you
Once the aftermath of the invasion calmed down, we showed Papa the portrait of Mama. He couldn’t stop weeping for a full week. Lorena also cried when she received her grade for the final class project. Maria began diligently focusing on her recital with a focus I’ve never seen from her before. I got to learn how to cook a lot of new and amazing dishes from Grandma… And Leopold and Jamie both made a lot of art to hang up on the walls for Mama to travel through.
What's inside the rear-view mirror is closer than it appears
We do the best that we know how, with what we have been given
And the difference between you and I is, I've been given time
In time, you'll see
Papa held a big celebration in town to acknowledge all of the heroes that saved us and our palace.
People that Papa acknowledged are:
The Captain of the Pastel Guards, Horace Fais, Jerry Winslow who became the new Chief Warden, (Lt. Beckett got demoted and relocated to the furthest station away from the Pastel king’s eldest daughter), (vote Queen) Lorena, Lance, Suzanna, Skippy and the other military buddies of Lance, The Princels (Aubrey, Celso, and Orson)...
Especially Frederick, the crown prince of the Plaid Kingdom… Who, like Lorena, is given a Pastel medal. And to Prince Blaine, whose whereabouts are unfortunately still unknown…
…And last but not least, the Cursed Princess Club!!
Whitney, Abbi, Aurelia, Syrah, Prez - Calpernia, Saffron, Jolie, Thermidora, and the other members that get celebrated by their family and friends…
There was one person, however, that Papa has yet to acknowledge at all - the ex-Plaid King, Leland. It seems no one visits him at the prison.
After that, life settled down to a new normal.
Some things are not as simple as we said
Remember when we thought there were a handful of some magic words to pray
A guarantee and a down payment on a mansion
Remember all the rules we made about the Body and the Blood
The hoops we made them jump through
Though God offers it to everyone
I'm so sorry
Some things were moved into new homes… Lorena, Lance and Suzanna… are moving in together as house-mates that excel at army military studies and fencing….
…While others were moved out of old homes. The CPC plan a heist to return Gwen’s portrait from the Cosmopolitan Princess Conservatory. Abbi and Laverne disguise themselves as a distraction while the others sneak off.
And some homes got to stay exactly where they were. Prez’ spiders now wear Pastel guard hats and gossip about Tina’s catch… as well as the newest cursed member for the CPC…
Papa declared the (haunted) forest of the Cursed Princess Club a protected area so that no one would ever be in danger of being invaded again.
The Haunted Forest stays exactly as they are…
Do you remember now the things I said I thought that I deserved

Frederick says that he’s been hard at work at his lessons every day and night…
…But that he has a lot of support around him. His mother, The Plaid Queen, Isolde… His elder brother, Lance… They give Frederick a warm drink to stay the night as well as a blanket…
After much deliberation, Prez decided to fall back to her old method of dealing with her curse...
“ Curse or no curse, I am a pretty princess (and a hunky prince) who deserves love ! ”

Thermidora (as Benedict, Benny, cursed himself to be able to wander on the land) wasn’t the only one to reunite with someone from her past…
Whitney too as he gets invited to the coronation of the new ruler of Monochrome Kingdom, Queen Blacquelyn with a coat that is made by the hair of Greyden as a dog…
And hold all the mothers, whose babies bleed from bullet holes
And feel all the hunger, the bellies, and the bones
Shout for the prisoner, cry for justice, loud and long
And march with the victims, as God marches on
And sit at all the tables, 'cause God eats with everyone
And dance to the music, if you can't sing its native tongue
And cry for the wombs, the mothers and the empty arms
And hold high the warriors, fighting now for freedoms' song
And love, love, love, love
We all got to take a trip to the Lace Kingdom for a special occasion…
…in order to witness Nell and Jolie celebrating their vows to each other.
And just recently, Aurelia had a great cause for celebration too (a breakthrough about her curse).
Maria got to finally fulfill her childhood dream of singing her recital for everyone in the Pastel Plaza, and it was incredible. She even caught the attention of her idol, Bozart…
…And began a successful collaboration under his label.

And last but not least, with growing acknowledgement and support for the Cursed Princess Club, Prez began dreaming bigger too. Prez along with Saffron are planning to make a black painted building with the CPC rose logo to host community events, support groups, and businesses for cursed people throughout the entire town.
The C.P.C.P.C.P.C.P.C “Cursed Princess Club Philanthropic Center for Progress and Change for People with Curses.”
The interior will also have lots of little market stalls, with a few going to people in our club… like “Jewelry by Monika”
…Including my own self-serve bakery, which I’ve been baking a lot in preparation for lately.

I’ve been doing really well.
And when I look in the mirror these days, I see…

But if I ever feel that way, one thing that really helps is to read the letter Mama wrote for us in the back of her portrait...

If you are reading this, then all has gone well, and I have been able to witness you becoming the wonderful people you are today.
This letter is for everyone to read,
But as the current reigning queen of the Pastel Kingdom, I have a duty to deliver this message to you girls… and boys as well…
…Just as Jack’s mother, the former Pastel Queen, did for me within the walls of this palace…
…regarding this family’s long-standing quest for everlasting beauty.
I am proud to inform you that when the four of you were born, their dreams finally came to fruition…
…for you, my darlings, are the most beautiful in all the land.
But contrary to their treatises,...
…eternal beauty has nothing to do with the birds that flock to be near you…
