    Mikan steals away to the top floor of the hospital gifted her, into one of the rooms where she can be alone and away from everyone, and she takes in a deep breath of fake air, and she murmurs as clearly as she can, "M-M-Monokuma?"

    He's there in an instant, a flash of white and black with that crimson slash of an eye glowing in the darkness. "Whatcha need?"

    "It's you, isn't it?"
