What he doesn't expect to see, once his eyes adjust tentatively to a bright morning sun streaming in through the windows, is Ansem lying unconscious and bandaged in the next bed over; looking for all the worlds like something broken and poorly taped back together. Xemnas stares - and it's a certainty now he's Xemnas, because there's no way he could be anyone else if Ansem was all the way over there and not, well... part of him again. A heavy sense of fatigue starts to creep in at the thought.
