Her face pinches in a frown. “What?” Tav asks with a laugh, breathless. “Can’t make up your mind?”
“No, look,” Shadowheart holds up Tav’s wrists. Turning them this way and that, Tav sees the problem: the metal buckle is simply gone, leaving smooth black leather and shiny purple stitches behind.
“Kinky,” Tav says, tugging at them again, this time with more purpose.
Shadowheart scoffs. “You’re remarkably calm about this! We need to figure out how to get them off—“
“My love,” Tav interjects, trying to grab her soothingly and struggling with her bindings. “They’re enchanted sex toys from a cabinet inside a prolific pleasure house.
