Work Text:

Lev sat staring at the strange message the police got. He wouldn’t allow himself to leave the police station without a proper answer. He re-read the writing many times and traced the words. He tilted his head with a concerned look until,
“Wait a damn min-”
He quickly turned the writing to a different angel. He narrowed his eyes at the strange words. His eyes filled with hope as he grabbed his phone out of his pocket and took a picture of it. Then, he bolted out the door and ran to the police who were researching themselves. He waved his phone in the air and grinned.
“I found the location!”

“THEY FOUND THE WHAT?!” Maz threw a chair across the room after hearing the news one of his workers told him. “Yes sir, I’m not sure how but there was a message we had sent to them however I can’t pull up the exact message.” Max huffed like a bull. “Those little punks!”
“Sir?”
Max stormed through the white hallways in full rage until he ran right into the group room where everyone was. Everyone looked at him with confusion until he pulled out a gun. Then, panic.
He aimed at Anaashi who’s eyes blew wide. “You little fucking bitch throwing my plans into flames.” Ostun jumped in front of her. “The fuck you taking about you phyco?” his hand aggressively shook on the trigger. “I’m gonna blow your fucking brains out.” Before he could get enough control over his aim Ostun screamed. “Run!” Everyone scattered. Running as far as they could. “Get them all killed!” Max screamed. “Leave no traces!” He spit out to a nearby object and panted, gritted his teeth. “These little punks are gonna regret the day they took a breath.”

Many screams continued echoing through the white cave. Punches and guns rattling vibrating. Ostun and ANaashi both stuck together and hid over near the entrance they had finally discovered. “Fuck when will they get here!” Ostun muttered. Anaashi shook her head. “Just stay alive. That’s all that matters right now.” “That’s right!” The two gasped and whooped their heads over to the voice. A man with a gun to their heads was enough for the two to have sweat dripping down the twos foreheads. Ostun tugged Anaashi’s shirt twice. Signaling for her to run. He then tugged once as if it were a countdown. And once he finished tugging the third time Ostun kicked the man in his shins and shoved Anaashi away. The two both sprinted in differed directions. Unfortunately, the man recovered quickly and chose to chase Anaashi. Gun shots flew through the trapping air. Anaashi continued sprinting until she felt a sharp pain that sent her hissing to the ground. Her heart began ringing like a drum. Anaashi was on the floor helpless. She could feel her heart slowly very slowly coming to a stop. Everything started to get blurry. But she stayed strong and she tried not to close her eyes, though it was hard. As she started to give up the door to escape got busted open and she heard two warming voices come in. everything went from blurry to clear as she saw two figures run towards her.
“ANAASHI!” Yelled Yaku
“OH MY GOD WE FOUND HER!” Cried Lev.
As everything started to get blurry once again she could feel Lev holding her in his arms. She could feel Yaku brushing her hair and placing an arm on Anaashis cheek. “Lev call an ambulance!” Yaku yelled. “Already on their way,” said Lev. Anaashi felt tears pouring down her face. It was her way of telling them that she was still here with them. That she was well aware of what was happening. And a thank you.
Behind them she could hear more saviors coming in, searching for the other sets of twins that were scouted out around Max’s prison. “Natasha!” Yelled one. “Angel!!” “John!” and many others.
Lev pulled her closer and said “we got you now to relax, your parents and brother will be so happy to see you again.” Slowly Anaashi drifted to sleep, knowing that she was gonna be okay.

Her saviors had come..

Anaashi slowly started to wake up to a beeping sound. She blinked a few times so that the colors would be clear to her. She smiled for the first time in what felt like forever. The walls were orange instead of white. And the ceiling was a calming yellow reminding her of a sunrise. A doctor came in and gasped. “Она жива!” (She’s alive!) Anaashi gave a quick smile towards the doctor and calmly waved to let the doctor know that she was fine. “Да, я” (Yes I am) She said. The doctor gave Anaashi a confused look.

“Вы понимаете, о чем я говорю?”
(You understand what I'm saying?)
“я”
(Ya)
The doctor smiled and nodded. “У вас есть посетители.” (You have visitors) Anaashi nodded and yawned. She hadn’t slept well in almost two years nor had she slept in a bed for as long. A minute later a tall and short-ish man came rushing in, one tightly hugging her. “I’m so glad you’re back!” Said no one other than Yaku. Anaashi hugged him back crying softly. “Thank you for finding me.” Yaku smiled, letting go of the hug. “Oh I wasn’t the one who found Maxims hideout. Your uncle Lev did.” Anaashi looked over to her other uncle and wiped her tears. “Thank you.” Lev gave Anaashi a quick hug saying. “I’m just glad you’re okay.” Lev let go and rubbed her back twice before walking to Yaku. Anaashi looked around the room and took a calm, relaxing breath. The room was silent and Anaashi played with her bracelet. “Will I be able to see my family?” Yaku and Lev heads shot up. Yaku laughed. “Yes you will. We plan to take you home in a week once the doctors find out if the experiments affected you and make sure that you didn’t get any illness from them if they are bad. Anaashi nodded and Lev spotted Anaashi’s bracelet that she was playing with. “It looks like you kept that necklace safe. Why?”
Anaashi was shocked with the sudden question but sighed. “Bokunoo and I made matching bracelets when we were in pre school. We swore that we would never let anything happen to them.”
Lev and Yaku were in awe. Anaashi really went through all of that trouble yet still she protected that bracelet? “Awwww!” cheered Lev. “That’s so wholesome!” Anaashi blushed in embarrassment. Yaku punched Lev in the arm. Lev yelped. “Idiot! You ruined the moment!” Yaku complaned. They all looked at each other before bursting out into laughter and had a quick group hug.
Throughout the week Anaashi went through many surgeries after the doctors found out how many things she’d been exposed to. They wanted her to stay longer but they thought if anything it would be better if Anaashi got treated at her town. Lev and Yaku stayed with her the whole time she stayed at the hospital and made sure to keep her company.
Finally, after a week and a half she was discharged from the hospital. But was warned to be super careful on what activities she did. They also gave her medicine to keep in case of emergencies.
They then booked the earliest flight to Japan and said farewell to Russia. Leaving Russia felt like leaving a toxic factory for Anaashi. She got comfortable in her seat and drank her warmed up tea that the kind flight attendant gave her. The three were able to get a special plane that would take them to the place they needed to be. Then, after a long 9 hour flight. They’d arrived...
