Work Text:
Isaac laid down, his head in Nigel’s lap. He let out a huge sigh.
He looked at the perfect British man, “Nigel, how was your Halloween with Nancy and the British ghosts?”
“Quite splendid, there was much boasting about our engagement and-“
”Okay, now back to me.” Isaac grabbed one of Nigel’s hands. Nigel rolled his eyes and let Isaac take the spotlight.
“So where to begin?” Isaac asked, before thinking. Nigel rubbed Isaac’s belly as he thought, causing a faint laugh to come from Isaac’s lips.
“Oh, I know where to start!” Isaac got started. “So Thor wanted to get Flower brought down, so we tried a seance, but no.”
“Tragic.” Nigel shook his head.
“Well, she is probably happier up there anyway.” He looked up at Nigel, “Not as happy as I am now with you.”
Nigel blushed at that.
Isaac had more to talk about, “Sam and Jay are now drug criminals… and killers in some people's eyes.”
Nigel looked down, very, very, concerned.
“They didn't actually kill anyone, yet,” Isaac assured him. “It's just that someone died and Sam and Jay can't be normal for five minutes, so now expect the cops to be here soon.”
Nigel asked, “Someone die? Did they become a ghost?”
“Well, yeah but, we don't need to rush to meet her.”
“Why is that?”
“I just got comfortable.”
Nigel’s face was deadpan, until Isaac started to snore. Nigel shook him, but Isaac was out like a light. Nigel sighed and accepted that he was stuck there.
