Summary
It shocked Gabriel, not only how they had managed to defeat it to this point, but how carelessly they treated someone, to rather something, that had managed to defeat an archangel. His mind protested against his own thoughts but it was something worthy of a divine status. No more than him, metal-covered flesh with a lust for blood. It did not deserve whatever punishment they would bring upon it. It was not the will of God anymore, but a senseless act of injustice to prove a point that had been made clear long ago.
Gabriel was weak.
