Tingyun introduces Caelus a special robotic bird which allows him to view the scenery of Luofu as books describing the ship pales in comparison to what the books described. While initially skeptical, Caelus took the offer to use the gadget. The small little grey robotic bird with an ID of 'Gray Peony' registered for his ownership.
Caelus sets the bird off, flying to see the sights of Starskiffs driving through a busy day. The bustling commercial hub of people coming for trade and medicine. His robotic bird blends in with the cycrane to follow their deliveries.
Eventually, Caelus maneuvers his sightseeing robotic bird to a marvelous zen garden. The plants were very well-taken care of and maintained. A meticulous owner they showered their love with. Before Caelus would control his bird to leave...
He hears a light snoring nearby. Curiosity gets the best towards the Trailblazer to find the source, only to find a certain General of Xianzhou Alliance sleeping by the balcony. If Caelus could take back his remark to March 7th on how handsome the General was, Jing Yuan was even more attractive as he controls the bird to look even closer. His soft-looking lips slightly parted.
The long eyelashes rests gently against his cheek and his refined skin glowed against the artificial daylight. As though being dominated by Kafka's spell, Caelus only controls his robotic bird again to fly and perch on the shoulders.
While he can't be here physically close to the General to get into another scandal... One last close look of his handsome face, Caelus told himself. Then, he will leave and return the gadget to Tingyun.
The movements of the robot bird's claw against the metal shoulder pads had roused the sleeping lion awoke. Jing Yuan's right golden eye sleepily, blinking twice before his sight lays upon the tiny intruder at his abode.
A slow and lazy smile curls on Jing Yuan's lips. "Hm... Now, where did you come from little one...?"
The General offers out his hand, making soft clicking sound to encourage the little bird to rest on his finger. Caelus, on the other hand, was sweating and panicking internally. On one hand, he was slightly relieved the General has yet to find out. However he had no doubt overstay his welcome and needed to leave, lest he creates another scandal.
Leaving immediately would only raise suspicion to the General. So, Caelus controls the robot bird to fly and land on the finger, continuing to pretend the charade of an animal until it was safe to leave.
"Good boy," Jing Yuan praises, another hand raised to pet the metallic... Did the General's voice ever sounded this sexy? "I have hope you enjoyed looking around my garden. It's a shame I have yet to finish weeding them...
The unusual sigh escaping the General's lips surprised Caelus. He did remember seeing a few potted plants covered with new grown weeds from the screen. Caelus moving the robotic bird's head to look at the red peony flower. A sympathetic feeling grew in him.
Recalling his guard captain friend Gepard who's troubled at times for his own, asking advice if other planets have ways to get rid of them. "I see you have a good taste, little one. I'd hope to show it to your owner who share the same name."
Wait, what? Caelus's yellow eyes colored in disbelief at what he heard. His screen slowly move to face the General.
There was the usual lazy smile curled on Jing Yuan's face. But... It wasn't any smile for the robot bird. The golden eye from the General expressed an all-knowing look. His gaze pierced through the screen as though the Trailblazer is here in this room with him instead of being distances apart.
"It's a simple thank you gift. To your beloved owner, Gray Peony, has been a great help to infiltrate the ranks of the cult..." The hand stroking the robot bird now feels more akin to Jing Yuan touching Caelus's face, making him shudder in delight.
Bringing the robotic bird closer until all Caelus could see was the General of Xianzhou lips. "If possible, I'd like you to relay my invitation to your owner for a cup of tea at the teahouse to chat between friends..."
Then General Jing Yuan's lips pressed gently onto the bird's beak. For Caelus's own end, it wasn't the stellaron in him exploded. His face combust in red as all his blood rushed upwards to his head. Logically speaking, it is the General kissing the robotic bird.
Caelus could almost imagine how it feels for the General's lips to be touching his own, subconsciously raising a hand to rub his lips. The moment the General pulled away, Caelus never pushed the control hard on the robotic bird to fly and flee away from the lion.
If Caelus had stayed any longer, he'd be sure to see Jing Yuan looking at the bird or him specifically with an amused yet fond look on his face. Maybe he should return the gadget to Ting Yun and meet up with the General himself.
